Scott P. Beadle,66, affectionately known as Grizz, passed away on May 1, 2024 at his home in West Point. He was born on December 5, 1957, in East Liverpool, the son of the late Patrick and Sally (McCauley) Beadle. He graduated from East Liverpool High School with the Class of 1976. Grizz lived a fulfilling life and touched the hearts of many during his time on earth.
Grizz dedicated eight years of his life to serving his country as a Flight Line Diesel Mechanic in the U.S. Air Force, starting in 1978 until his retirement in 1986. His commitment and skills were admired by his colleagues and superiors alike.
Outside of his military service, Grizz found joy in being an Eagle Scout Leader, mentoring and guiding young scouts on their journey. His leadership and passion for scouting left a lasting impact on those he interacted with.
Grizz is survived by his loving children: Scott Beadle II, of Wellsville, Jordan (Courtney) Beadle, of Boardman, Brandon "Boo" (Jessica) Beadle, of Rochester, James Dillon (Rebecca) Beadle, of Boardman, and Kristen (Scott) Whaling, of Rochester. He also leaves behind a legacy through his grandchildren whom he loved with his entire heart: Hailey, Alyssa, Helayna, Alexia, Lainey, Avery, Abbey, Kaleb, Madelyn, D.J., and Olivia. He is also survived by his sister, Susan English, of West Point, and his two dogs, whom he loved, Leo and Nash. Grizz also leaves behind his best friend, Steven Joy, and the mother of his children, Eva Binder.
Along with his parents, Grizz was preceded in death by his two sisters: Luanne Beadle and Lisa Rudibaugh.
With a kind heart and unwavering dedication to his family, Grizz will be deeply missed and forever remembered for the love and wisdom he shared with all who had the privilege to know him. A private family service will be held by the family.
Arrangements were handled by the Martin Chapel of Care Funeral & Cremation, in Calcutta.
