Roy Edward Keyes Sr., age 90, went to be with our Lord and Savior on June 29, 2025. He was born on November 5, 1934, to the late Alberta and David Keyes Sr.

Roy was reunited in Heaven with his beloved wife of 67 years, Phyllis Jean Keyes, who passed away on June 28, 2022. Together they lovingly raised eight children and six grandchildren as their own.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Phyllis; his daughter, Jenny Keyes; his brothers Bob, Jack, and Jim; and his sisters, Wanda, Betty, Jeanie, and Evelyn.

Roy was a devoted father to: Roy Keyes Jr. (Diana), Bill Keyes (Elma), Donny Keyes (Robin), Chuck Keyes (Marji), Cathy Joy (Bob), Debbie Marshall (George), Tim Keyes (Penny). He also raised six grandchildren as his own: Doug Keyes (Heidi), Cindy Johnston (Raymond), Jobena Prencipe, Bobbi Jo Gibson (Ryan), Billy Keyes, and Timmy Keyes.

Roy is survived by his brother, Joe Keyes, of Kentucky.

He was blessed with a large and loving family, including 22 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren, and 11 great-great grandchildren.

At Roy's request, there will be no calling hours or formal services. Care Funeral & Cremation Specialists Martin Chapel in Calcutta have been entrusted with the cremation. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
