Roslyn
Dailey
Jun 6, 1930 — Sep 12, 2026
Roslyn A. Dailey, 96, of East Liverpool, passed away peacefully on September 11, 2026, at CrossRoads at Beaver Creek.
Roslyn was born on June 6, 1930, in Gnadenhutten, Ohio, the daughter of the late Lester E. Brown Sr. and Beatrice Havelock Brown Funk.
Roslyn married the love of her life, Donald W. Dailey Sr., and together they built a loving home and raised their family. They shared many happy years together until his passing in 1997. Prior to Don's passing, Roslyn and Don enjoyed ballroom dancing, creating cherished memories together.
Family was the center of Roslyn's life. She treasured her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren and took great pride in watching her family grow. She especially loved family get-togethers, where she could be surrounded by the people she loved most and share in their laughter, stories, and special moments.
Roslyn found immense joy in her card clubs and the cherished moments spent surrounded by dear friends. Above all, she will be remembered for her warm heart and deep devotion to her family. Her playful spirit showed every time she turned off the TV in frustration whenever her favorite sports teams weren't playing well, and no visit was ever complete without her sending you off with a sweet Hershey's kiss.
Along with her husband and parents Roslyn was preceded in death by two brothers and two sisters as well as her grandson, George Johnson IV.
She is survived by her children Donald (Anna) Dailey, Jr of New Cumberland, WV and Denise Ann (George) Johnson, of Roanoke, VA; her brother, John D. (Linda) Funk; grandchildren: Erin (Justis) Estell, and Daniel (Melinda) Dailey; 5 great-grandchildren, 3 great-great grandchildren, and numerous beloved nieces, nephews, and extended family.
Graveside services will be held at Riverview Cemetery Chapel in East Liverpool on Wednesday, September 16, 2026, at 11AM with Pastor Tom Adkins of Campground Community Church officiating.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made in Roslyn's name to American Heart Association, PO Box 840692, Dallas TX, 75284-0692
