Obituary

Marjorie "Marge" Jean Kinzel, born on December 11, 1927, in East Liverpool, the daughter of the late Carl and Helen (Hamilton) Morgan passed away peacefully on November 29, 2024, at Continuing Health Care in Lisbon, just shy of her 97th birthday.

A dedicated librarian with the Wellsville School system for approximately 30 years, Marge found immense joy and fulfillment in her work. Her passion for literature was evident not only in her professional life but also in her personal interests as an avid reader.

Marge had a vivacious spirit and a love for life that was palpable to all who knew her. She could often be found cheering enthusiastically at Wellsville sporting events, where her presence was as much a staple as the game itself. Her love for dancing, particularly her skillful jitterbug, brought joy and laughter to many gatherings.

Her compassionate nature extended beyond people to animals. As a devoted animal lover, Marge's heart was especially warmed by the presence of cats, and she often found herself taking in many stray creatures in need of care and affection.

Renowned for her long walks through town, Marge was a familiar face and friend to many. Her warmth, kindness, and dedication to her community and passions left a lasting impact on all who had the privilege of crossing paths with her.

Marge's legacy is one of commitment, love, and an unyielding zest for life. She will be dearly missed and fondly remembered by those whose lives she touched.

Left behind to cherish her memory are: her five children: Beth (Dan) Talbott, of Wellsville, Jeff Kinzel, of Riverside, CA, Mike (Crystal) Kinzel, of Naples, FL, David (Jim) Kinzel, of Boston, MA, and Thomas Alan (Margaret) Kinzel, of Boise, ID; six grandchildren: Heather (Scott) Powell, Dan (Kristi) Talbott, Ryan (Tiffany) Talbott, Leonard (Kristin) Kinzel, Mike (Lauren) Kinzel, and Andrew Kinzel. Marge also leaves behind 12 great-grandchildren and former daughter-in-law, Carrie (Ron) Ammon.

Along with her parents, Marge was preceded in death by her husband, Leonard Kinzel, who passed away in 1970, and her beloved great-granddaughter, Haley Kinzel, as well as her 4 siblings.

In keeping with Marge's wishes, no services will be observed.

Memorial donations in Marge's name can be made to: The Wellsville High School Alumni Scholarship Fund or the Wellsville Library.

The family will hold a memorial service at a later date.
