John "Johnny" Glenn Barnhart, 58, passed away on February 5, 2025 in Columbus, following a 6 month battle with cancer. John was born on December 28,1966 in Cleveland, OH and was 58 years old.

John was an avid hunter and fisherman. He enjoyed the outdoors and spent many days on the Ohio river. John spent most of his summers camping with friends and family.

John lived in Wellsville, OH prior to relocating to Columbus, OH in 1994. John graduated from Wellsville High School in 1985. He worked on the railroad and construction prior to branching out on his own as a construction sub-contractor.

Johnny was preceded in death by: his parents, Dale and Catherine (Congo) Barnhart, who were residents of Wellsville; his brother, Scott Barnhart, and his aunt, Linda Greathouse.

He is survived by: Kelly Barnhart and his daughters: Jenna Barnhart, Kayla Barnhart, and Chelsea Barnhart (Kise); his sister, Jennifer Barnhart, of Wellsville, and brother, Doug Barnhart, of Wellsville. He also leaves behind his aunt, Fran Freeman; several nephews and many friends.

Visitation will take place on Tuesday, February 11, 2025 from 12PM-3PM at the MacLean Chapel of Care Funeral & Cremation Specialists, 509 Riverside Ave, Wellsville, OH. The funeral will follow at 3PM with Pastor Mark Blakeley of Wellsville First Christian Church officiating.
