Gregory Paul Fitch, 70, of Cypress, TX, passed away at his home on Saturday, June 22, 2024. Greg was born in East Liverpool, OH on July 10, 1953, to the late Henry Donald Fitch and Geraldine Helen (Powell) Fitch. Greg attended East Liverpool High School and graduated with the Class of 1972. Upon graduation Greg gained employment at Crucible Steel in Midland, Pennsylvania. Greg was employed with the steel mill until the company closed its doors in 1982.

Greg enlisted in the U.S. Army in 1983 and served proudly for 20 years. While in the U.S. Army Greg was a Military Policeman in the K-9 Division. He achieved Kennel Master during his career and retired from the military in 2003 as a Staff Sergeant.

Greg leaves behind a devoted and loving wife of 14 years, Linda Munoz-Fitch, whom he married on March 19, 2010

Greg was preceded in death by his parents and his brother Stephen Fitch.

Greg is survived by his loving sister, Francine Lynch, daughter Lorinda (Keith) Runyon, Medina, TN; Son Gregory Brandon (Michael Ann) Fitch, Chesapeake, VA; 5 Grandchildren, Karissa (Josh) Hensen, Kimper, KY; Jake (Phoebe) Runyon, Nashville, TN; Josh (Allison) Runyon, Lexington, TN; Colton Fitch and Cason Fitch, Chesapeake, VA; and 4 Great Grandchildren, Makennah and Melody Hensen and Mason and Allora Mae Runyon.

Visitation will be held at the Martin Chapel of Care Funeral & Cremation in Calcutta on Sunday, June 30, 2024 from 3PM-7PM. A graveside service will be held on Monday, July 1, 2024 at 11AM at Columbiana County Memorial Park where the Tri-State Burial group will be present to accord full military honors.
