Emma D. Carlile, 100, passed away on November 1, 2026 at Orchards of East Liverpool. Emma was born on June 14, 1926, the daughter of the late James and Diana (Tomirane) Rotuna.

Emma married Virgil Carlile and spent her time raising a family with him until his death in 1957.

Prior to her retirement, Emma was the supervisor of the snack bar at Alliance Hospital. She was also a member of Williamsport Chapel in Lisbon, OH

Along with her parents, Emma was preceded in death by her infant son, Jeffrey Dunlap.

She is survived by her children: Allen Carlile, of Lisbon, Gary Carlile, of Costa Rica, and Denise (David) Carlile Cline, of Lisbon. She also leaves behind 5 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.

In keeping with her wishes, no formal service will be held but a memorial service will take place at a later date.
