Diana Lynn Bunfill, 79, of Maple Avenue, Wellsville, went to be with the Lord on August 24, 2024 after a long illness. She was born on June 19, 1945, in East Liverpool, the daughter of the late Evert and Dorothy (Snyder) Bunfill.
Diana was a lifelong resident of Wellsville. She attended and worked at Robert Bycroft as well as E.D.I. South workshop, where she had 47 years of service. She also attended Alpha Day Care in East Liverpool
Diana was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan and was always dressed in her Steelers jersey on gameday. She was also very patriotic, gave the best hugs, and loved playing the dice game Farkle. She participated in Special Olympics on the bowling and golf teams, winning money, trophies, and medals. She also bowled with her church family. She was crowned prom queen at Robert Bycroft, enjoyed drawing pictures and giving them to friends and family. Diana was a member of Wellsville First Christian Church and loved her Jesus with her entire heart.
Along with her parents, Diana was preceded in death by: her brother, Don Bunfill, and sister, Karen Brandt.
Those left behind to cherish her memory are her four sisters: Shelba Coy, Carol Huston, Carla (Bob) Disch, and Kay (Bob) Smith, and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 28, 2024 from 3PM-7PM at the Martin Chapel of Care Funeral & Cremation Specialists, in Calcutta. The funeral will be held on Thursday, August 29th at 11AM at the First Christian Church in Wellsville. Diana will be laid to rest with her parents at Columbiana County Memorial Park Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family is asking that donations be made in Diana's name to Wellsville First Christian Church, 831 Main Street, Wellsville, OH 43968 or Valley Hospice 4000 Johnson Rd, Steubenville, OH 43952
