Dean "Pap" Taggart, born on September 7, 1941, in Highlandtown, Ohio, passed away peacefully on June 5, 2024, in Youngstown, Ohio, at the age of 82.

Dean's life was a testament to hard work, dedication, and service to his country and community. He spent his career working in Maintenance at Ohio Edison.

A proud Army Vietnam veteran, Dean served his country with honor and courage. He was also a member of the Columbiana Legion #290.

Dean was preceded in death by his father, Jay Taggart, and his mother, Evelyn Taggart. He is survived by his loving wife, Jane Taggart; his devoted son, Michael Taggart (Melissa); his cherished daughter, Lori Paskevitch (Mike); and his beloved grandchildren, Kara Turney (Bryce), Max Paskevitch, and Kaden Paskevitch. He also leaves behind two precious great-grandchildren, Zane Turney and Dyna Turney, who brought immense joy to his life.

Dean "Pap" Taggart's spirit will live on in the hearts of his family and friends. His memory is a beacon of strength and love that will guide them through the days ahead.
