Carol Hoppel, aged 91, peacefully passed away on November 16, 2025, in Brookfield, Ohio. Born on October 7, 1934, in Buffalo, New York, Carol lived a life rich with family, work, and cherished pastimes.

Carol dedicated many years of her professional life as a secretary at The Counseling Center of Columbiana County. Her colleagues there were much more than coworkers; they became her second family, reflecting her warmth and dedication.

A lover of animals, Carol shared a special bond with her dog, Maggie, who was her loyal companion. In the quiet moments of her life, she found joy in reading and cross-stitching. Her collection of angel figurines was a testament to her appreciation for beauty and grace.

Carol was preceded in death by her parents, Julian and Ethel (Blazer) Lelinsky; her husband, Donald J. Hoppel; her sister, Phyllis McIntosh; and her beloved granddaughter, Amanda Burcham.

She leaves behind a loving family who will miss her dearly: her daughters, Amy Mitan and Sharon (Mark) Burcham; her son, Eric Hoppel; her grandchildren, Marc (Stephanie), and Laura Burcham, and Cory (Anthony) and Tessa Mitan; along with her six great-grandchildren, who brought her immense joy.

In accordance with her wishes, no formal services are scheduled at this time. Final arrangements have been entrusted to the Martin Chapel of Care Funeral & Cremation Specialists.

Carol's memory will forever be cherished by all who knew and loved her.
