Carl Leo Green, Sr., 74, of Wellsville, passed away on Tuesday, October 29, 2024 at Rose Lane

Skilled Nursing facility in Massillon, OH, and is now reunited with his beloved mother.

Carl was born in East Liverpool on March 25, 1950, the son of the late Bill and Pearl (Long) Green. He was a 1968 graduate of Boone High School in Orlando, FL. After graduation Carl enlisted in the United States Navy, faithfully serving his country from 1968-1972. After his discharge, Carl spent his career as a carpenter, working for Walt Disney World until his retirement in 1993. He spent the majority of his life in Florida, but returned to East Liverpool in 2003.

Left behind to cherish his memory are: his children: Carl "Bubba" Green, Jr (Jennifer), of East Liverpool, Kelly (Kristopher) Wilson, of Brewster, and Christy Green, also of East Liverpool. He also leaves behind 10 grandchildren: Christopher, Shaun, Cody, Darian, Kaylamarie, Maygen, Chayse, Chance, Drake, and Preslie. He also leaves behind 12 great-grandchildren: Cali, Mason, Amara, Hazeley, Wrenley, Oaklynn, Eden, Cali, Willow, Dutton, Maverick, and his great-grandson to come, Daymon Leo; brothers: Charles and Robert Green, of FL; his nephews, Billy and Danny Hughes, and numerous other nieces, nephews, and extended family. Carl also leaves behind his faithful dog, Bug.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 2, 2024 from 1PM-3PM at the MacLean Chapel of Care Funeral & Cremation Specialists, on Riverside Avenue in Wellsville. The funeral will follow at 3PM with Pastor Tina Wheatly officiating. The Tri-State Burial Group will also be present to accord full military honors.
